This spot takes its name from the old Thompsons Mill that once occupied this historic building on the banks of the Foyle. Decor is airy and cool while the cuisine is stylish and hot: best bets include honey loin of pork or the salmon or sea bass dishes. Thanks to its popularity, reservations are recommended (and practically essential on weekends). Add in an impressive but not expensive wine list and it all adds up to a fine place to chill with great views of the river.
