Rayanne House Review

Famous both for its food and for its hospitality, this country house run by the devoted Bernadette McClelland offers guest rooms that are airy, each in a contemporary style with garden views, along with lunch and dinner available by request 24 hours in advance. Dinner recreates the "last meal" on the RMS Titanic, which sailed down Belfast Lough, passing Rayanne House. Pink roses decorate the restaurant, which has been mocked up to look like the dining saloon on the liner. The sumptuous menu—stretching to nine courses and costing £70—includes champagne-laced asparagus, a Bushmills whiskey soup, rosewater sorbet, and filet mignon topped with foie gras and truffles.
