You don't get much more downtown or contemporary than this fashionable boutique hotel right behind City Hall. The Neoclassical facade of this former post office hides a serene interior that houses a trendy bar and a Grill Room, which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The bedrooms are minimalist-Asian in style—with king-size beds in all rooms topped with white duvets and soft armchairs to sink into. Lovers will opt for the Romance Package that offers a rose-petal turndown, chilled champagne, and chocolate truffles—all for ?195 in a superior guest room. All rooms were refurbished in 2009.
