The Loughran family's sprawling accommodation includes a number of large, Victorian-era houses. The hotel overlooks some of Ballsbridge's fine rear gardens and is near the main rugby stadium; the nearby DART will have you in the city center in seven minutes. The simple but relaxing rooms are painted in light shades and contain little clutter besides beds. The lounge is a good place to relax. The restaurant, which overlooks the English-style back garden (floodlighted at night) and children's play area, serves three meals a day; at dinner you can dine on steaks and stews. Pros: lovely garden and terrace; free parking; classic Victorian buildings. Cons: no a/c; basic room design; mediocre restaurant.
