Dylan Hotel Review
A symphony of "Victorian Contemporary Fusion" with Arts & Crafts stained glass, bordello brocades, spray-painted silver furnishings, and lordly antiques, this unique hotel in an old Victorian building is a racy addition to the sometimes staid Dublin scene. Even the Library has the feel of a place you might go for a naughty night with that someone special. The mysteriously lighted exterior looks beautiful at dusk and beckons you to enter. Upstairs, individually designed bedrooms feature cheeky design features that include leather padded walls, brocade wallpapers, and mirrored ceilings. It might be a little too much, but there's no denying the place is different. The restaurant continues the over-the-top decor with a lavish 1940s glam look, but the food is a little hit or miss. The Dylan Bar is a prime people watching spot.
