A favorite haunt of arty and media types, Eden has an open kitchen, a high wall of glass through which you can observe one of Temple Bar's main squares, and patio-style doors that lead to an outdoor eating area—a major plus in a city with relatively few alfresco dining spots. On weekend nights in summer you can enjoy an outdoor movie in Meeting House Square while you eat. Seasonal menus are in vogue here, but standout dishes include potted mushroom and soft cheese with pickled pearl onions, butternut squash and warm toast, and Castletownebere scallops with crispy potato cake, creamed leeks, and prawn bisque. Desserts include a tempting Belgian hot chocolate pudding.
