The open plan and family-style tables have kept Yamamori popular with noodle addicts and the hip crowd. The meals-in-a-bowl are a splendid slurping experience, and although you'll be supplied with a small Chinese-style soupspoon, the best approach is with chopsticks. The seafood yaki soba, stir fried egg noodles with a combination of freash seafood and seasonal vegetables with wakame (an edible seaweed), is a favorite example. You can also get sushi and sashimi,
delicious chicken teriyaki, or house specials like baked lobster. The bento box combo meal is the best value here.

Yamamori is a great place if you are a bunch of friends or work colleagues that go out for dinner, the place looks a bit like a cantine with benches and long tables. Not really romantic for two. But the food is excellent, sushi is def overpices, service is fast but atmosphere is loud and ectic. need to reserve because its constantly booked out.Wine selection is a bit limited but they have japanese beer.

this a great cheap place for lunches, also for evening dinning. Unpretentious atmosphere which can get a bit noisy at times once people are full of Kiren lager. The Vege-Ten Tempura is huge, tasty and cheap.
