Kilkenny Kitchen

Fodor's Review:

Take a break from shopping and sightseeing at this big self-service restaurant on the upper floor of the Kilkenny Shop. Homemade soup, casseroles, cold meats, and salads are arranged on a long buffet, along with lots of tasty breads and cakes. Slow-roasted pork with fennel and tomatoes is among the hot lunch choices. Try to get a table by the window overlooking the playing fields of Trinity College. Lunchtime is busy, but Kilkenny is very pleasant for morning coffee or afternoon tea.
