Above the small bay windows a bright blue sign reads "Eat Drink Sleepover," indicating that something different is going on here. This small café, nicely outfitted with a handcrafted wooden interior, is the place to be seen midmorning, reading the newspaper with a latte. Lunch entices with light bites like focaccia stuffed with Ardsallagh goat cheese, roasted tomato, crispy bacon, and baby spinach, plus daily specials. In summer, and Thursday through Saturday November
to March, Cucina serves a light dinner menu from 6 to 9 pm, with headliners like rib-eye steak over chips (fries) or a hot-and-cold fish platter featuring crispy squid, deep-fried hake, salmon, crab, and prawns. The sleepover element consists of four simple rooms on the top floor, at €70 per room (breakfast not included).
