Adare Guest House Review

A five-minute walk from the city center, across the River Coribb, this family-run guesthouse, managed by the son of the original owners, makes a handy base for exploring Galway. There's ample space to park your car, and there's none of the nighttime noise of the city center. Rooms are relatively spacious for the price, extremely well equipped, and plainly decorated in browns and creams. The multi-choice breakfast is served in a sunny room with country-pine furniture and floors overlooking a flower-filled patio.

    Adare Guest House Review

We used Adare Guest House as our home base for exploring the beautiful west and midlands regions of Ireland. The location is wonderful--close enough (5 minutes) to the lively restaurants, pubs and street entertainers of Galway City and yet far enough to be quiet and peaceful. The owners are warm and friendly and the rooms are restful, spotless and bright. Self-serve coffee, tea and biscuits are available throughout the day and the generous (included) breakfast proves a wonderful base for exploring. There is free parking and free wireless (which kept my 14-year-old happy!). We would definitely go again and again!
