Hótel Geysir

Hótel Geysir Review

Exuberant Viking decorations, such as replica carved dragon heads, are crammed into this hotel next to the famous Geysir and Strokkur springs. Various Icelandic specialities, such as salmon, rye bread baked in the heat of geothermal springs, and skyr (a delicious yogurtlike food made from skim milk) with cream, are served in the large ornate restaurant. The hotel also has a new adjacent camspite that features hot spring swimming pool and Jacuzzi among other facilities (see website).
