Hótel Geysir

Fodor's Review:

Exuberant Viking decorations, such as replica carved dragon heads, are crammed into this hotel next to the famous Geysir and Strokkur springs. Various Icelandic specialities, such as salmon, rye bread baked in the heat of geothermal springs, and skyr (a delicious yogurtlike food made from skim milk) with cream, are served in the large ornate restaurant.
