Ljósavatn church Review
Just before you reach Goðafoss, in the Skjálfandi River, you'll pass the Ljósavatn church on land where Þorgeir lived a millennium ago. Although the farm is long gone, you can visit the church, which houses, among other relics, some interesting runic stones.
