You'll have to decide for yourself if this hotel, built in 1977 around the remains of a 17th-century Gothic chapel and adjacent to the Matthias Church, is a successful integration or not. The exterior certainly betrays the hotel's 1970s origins, but the modern and tasteful rooms and great views from Castle Hill will soothe the most delicate of aesthetic sensibilities. While the minimal fitness facilities leave much to be desired, the 24-hour business center and free airport shuttle service make the Hilton stand out among its peers. Rooms with the best Danube vistas cost more. Children, regardless of age, stay free when sharing a room with their parents. VAT and tourist tax are not included in the rates.

Despite being based on top of Castle Hill in Buda it is easy to reach Pest. There are several bus stops within five minutes walk, with either the 16 or 16a going to Moskva ter with underground & tram connections.
The Hilton doesn`t operate a free shuttle to the airport at the moment.
If you have a Budapest card you get a discount in the lobby bar but not the restaurant.
