Pata Negra

Pata Negra Review

The colorful Spanish tiles on the wall, the big legs of ibérico jámon, and a full wall stacked with rioja tip you off to the authenticity of this tapas bar just off Ráday utca. The Black Trotter is the real thing, serving imported Spanish goodies like marinated anchovies and chorizo in small portions in an easygoing setting. There are all the things you'd expect to nibble on, like bacalao (salted codfish) and squid in black ink, and if your order enough of them, you can make a full meal. There's eggy flan and crème catalan for dessert.
