Tabán plébánia-templom (Tabán Parish Church)

Tabán plébánia-templom (Tabán Parish Church) Review

This church, whose steeple is a symbol of the old Tabán neighborhood, arose between 1728 and 1736 on the site of a Turkish mosque and was subsequently expanded several times, its present facade dating from 1880-81. Its form—mustard-colored stone with a rotund, green clock tower—could be described as restrained baroque.
