Fodor's Review:
In 1565 Sokoli Mustapha, the Turkish pasha of Buda, ordered the construction of Turkish baths within the old city walls, to ensure that the Turks could still bathe in the event of siege. A stone cupola, crowned by a golden moon and crescent, arches over the steamy, dark pools indoors. It is open to men on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday; to women on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. These baths are popular with the gay male community.
