Esther Gál's wrought-iron designs are a far cry from the staid stuff of traditional blacksmiths. Her loopy candlesticks and tables are playful and modern, not to mention one of a kind. Gorgeously upholstered furniture and silk textiles are another attraction in this two-floor emporium behind Váci utca. If the colorful table runners and placemats don't make you want to throw a lavish dinner party, then the hand-dripped candles available in every possible color will.
