Hungarian National Philharmonic Orchestra
Hungarian National Philharmonic Orchestra Review
Formerly the Hungarian State Symphony Orchestra, it began performing in 1923. The orchestra, with 105 musicians, is currently directed by one of Hungary's most famous conductors, Zoltán Kocsis. The orchestra performs regularly at the Liszt Ferenc Music Academy, the National Concert Hall in the Palace of the Arts, the Budapest Convention Center, and sometimes in St. Stephen's Basilica.
