Hungarian wines are showcased in this modern yet cozy bistro on bustling Andrássy út, close to the Opera and the Music Academy. The cement floors and minimalist lights give the place a soft industrial feel. Owned by the Budapest Wine Society, this place takes wines seriously. Order one of the borozó (wine snacks) like a plate of sauteed almonds or a hearty country pâté to pair with Hungary's best vintages, many available very reasonably by the glass. Main courses are seasonally inspired, and there's an emphasis on Hungarian favorites such as duck and game.

You ought to remove this from your list. This restaurant has not been in existence for about 18 months!

We could not find this restaurant, so actually the rating is meaningless!! We followed the directions in your guide book and looked all around the area--nobody on the street could tell us where it is. Then we heard from a waiter in an another restaurant that he thought that restaurant had moved somewhere else. Your description sounded good and we really wanted to try it but couldn't find it--very frustrating!!!
