Spoon Café

Spoon Café Review

For a world-class view of Castle Hill, the Chain Bridge, and the Danube, step aboard this hip restaurant and café boat moored in the heart of downtown Pest. Cocktail hour is crowded with tourists and residents enjoying the spectacular view. Stylishly prepared international food like lemon chicken Caesar salad keep the crowds happy. There are tempting choices here for vegetarians, like grilled goat-cheese sandwiches and homemade pastas. Take notice of the bill, though, before you pay; unlike most other places in the city, service here is included.

We went there for business dinner, and they did a good job - overall we were happy. It is a boat on the Danube - really something to do in the summertime. The food and atmosphere is good. The service staff is a little too tourist and tip oriented. The price is on the upper end, so it is not your best catch in town, but nice for a change.
