Book NowLe Méridien Budapest Review
Rooms in this entirely renovated, early-20th-century building—which stands in marked contrast to its pointedly modern neighbor, the Kempinski—are decorated in the French Empire style and are both comfortable and plush, with king-size beds in every double room and large bathrooms with separate shower stalls and bathtubs. Rooms on the higher floors are slightly smaller but come with an individual balcony. The online packages are often unique and a very good deal.

the President has recently stayed here and apparently taught the staff the English words that appear above, so much so the letter W sends them into laughter.
Rarely does the cheapest room in the house come with a twelve foot ceiling and a chandelier but that said, they charge for everything, probably even the hot water that wasn't in the bathtub. Nice touches like internet on TV don't seem to work and the aptly named manager Mr Grey seems only animated by a Belgian who stayed there 300 times. I liked the onion soup and beef stew at $30 more than a breakfast buffet ripoff at $49. -

Very nice hotel and good location on the Pest side. The rooms were large but nothing special - just a typical nice hotel chain type room. We did have a great view over the park. What made this hotel for us was the service. The staff was helpful, friendly, and informative. They seemed to really care that you had a good stay at their hotel and city. Would definitely stay there again.
