Tourist Review

An impressively elegant, turn-of-the-20th-century building houses this modest family-run hotel that's very popular with regular foreign visitors—from business-trippers to families—who enjoy the guest rooms with high ceilings, plus some nifty historic touches, such as time-burnished wainscoting and an attractive 1920s elevator. The owners are always making improvements. Book in advance to make sure you get a room.
