Kaminia

A small fishing hamlet built around a shallow inlet, Kamini has much of Hydra Town's charm but none of its bustle—except on Orthodox Good Friday, when the entire island gathers here to follow the funerary procession of Christ. On a clear day, the Peloponnese coast is plainly visible across the water, and spectacular at sunset. Take the 20-minute stroll from Hydra Town west; a paved coastal track gives way to a staggered, white path lined with fish tavernas; Kamini's small beach also has restaurants nearby, which you can spot arriving by boat or sea taxi.
