A restored 1916 mansion in the ornate Second Empire style, replete with amazing white-and-Grecian-blue tile work, fuses modern-day amenities and 19th-century nostalgia, with the emphasis on the latter in the frilly guest rooms, thanks to their period furniture, chandeliers, and stucco moldings, each room coming with its own style and color scheme (pistachio green to Venetian red). Particularly charming are the round rooms in the towers. On nice mornings, head to the veranda
for the breakfast of local breads, fruits, preserves, and other products. For those who wish, full board is an added €18 per person.
