The Northern Aegean Islands Sights

Skala Eresou Beach

  • Beach–Sight

Fodor's Review

Especially popular is the 4-km-long (2½-mile-long) town beach at Skala Eresou, where the wide stretch of dark sand is lined with tamarisk trees. A small island is within swimming distance, and northerly winds lure windsurfers as well as swimmers and sunbathers. There are many rooms to rent within walking distance of the beach. Amenities: food and drink; showers; toilets; water sports; parking (free). Best For: sunset; swimming; snorkeling; walking; partiers;

windsurfing.
