The Kivotos Clubhotel is deluxe, architecturally ambitious, and stylishly arrayed around an impressive pool. The main floor is all done in a richly decorative island style, with statues in niches and mosaic work, and unexpected little courtyards with bright flowers. The guest rooms, all individually decorated, display local crafts and fine antiques, such as ships' steering wheels, and candelabras. Most rooms have views over the bay.
Ornos Bay, Mykonos, Greece

Our first stop on a three week trip. Had I known how much I would enjoyed this fabulous retreat, I would have stayed the entire three weeks. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about Kyvotos, as the staff, accomodations, amenties, etc. were above par. Grilled, stuffed calamari by the pool with a cocktail---FABULOUS! My favorite world destination.

What a find! This hotel, on quiet Ornos Bay - about 2 miles from town, is probably one of the top 2-3 hotels on the island. (Taxi is just about $5 to get to town). We were upgraded to a 2 room suite, and loved it. Excellent views of the bay, excellent amenities in the room (better than most hotels in Greece), and excellent service. The daily breakfast (included in the rate) was a nice full-American spread. The high-design details in the rooms,
and all around the grounds were also interesting and unique. Highly recommended.
