Belvedere Review

You may feel compelled to book a trip to Greece immediately upon viewing the "movie" presentation on this hotel's web site—it is almost as relaxing, blue-and-white, and high style as this hotel (but not quite). This is the hotel for lovers of style, who want to be with-it, and like to see what they are paying for. Favored by the hip, replete with Matsuhita Mykonos—an outpost of famed sushi chef Nobu—and designed in the best dreamy manner, the Belevedere has a clublike atmosphere, convenient location, and view over Mykonos town and harbor that ensures this hotel's popularity. In the restaurants and bars, you can cut the "cool" attitude with a knife—but when you want to slip off your Tods, repair to the dramatically decorated guest rooms (redecorated in 2008), white-on-white sanctums with sailcloth drapes, rope accents, and a beautifully laid-back touch. Some have magical views, a trade-off for the small dimensions of some of the rooms. Transfers cost €25, but breakfast is included.
