This sophisticated café and restaurant is located at the north end of Ia's main walkway, just down the steps; its big terrace offers one of the town's finest caldera views. Owner Chara Kourti warmly touts her Santorini pureéd fava with onion chutney and kafaifi crust, and also her baked feta in a nacho crust with orange preserves and lemon balm. Among the fish choices are octopus with crabmeant, fresh coriander, potatoes, and truffle foam, and seabass cooked in sea salt; a delicious slow-roasted lamb is served with fresh island greens. Desserts are a specialty; try mastic mousse with carmelized pistachios and rose-petal preserves. This popular spot is open from lunch until late.
