Mykonos and Delos Travel Guide

Bus Travel

In Mykonos town the Ayios Loukas bus station (22890/23360) in the Fabrica quarter at the south end of town has buses to Ornos, Agios Ioánnis, Platys Yialos, Psarou, Paradise beach, the airport, and Kalamopodi. Another station near the Archaeological Museum is for Ayios Stefanos, Tourlos, Ano Mera, Elia, Kalafatis, and Kalo Livadi. Schedules are posted (hotel concierges also should have this info); fares run from €2 to €10. Regular taxis line up at Mavro Square (22890/23700), while scooter-taxis greet new arrivals at the harbor; use them to get to your Mykonos town hotel, usually hidden away on a pedestrian (and scooter-only) street. Meters are not used on Mykonos; instead, standard fares for each destination are posted on a notice bulletin board; note there are only 13 regular cabs here even in August!
