Fodor's Review

The town library displays manuscripts, rare books, and memorabilia from the Greek revolutionary period, when Dimitsana was a center for revolutionary activity against the Turks. Many of the books were printed clandestinely, against Turkish law, in Greek. Also on display are household items, costumes, and other reminders of 19th-century life in Dimitsana.
