This is Santorini's oldest taverna, where you'll find locals in winter. Island dishes are prepared well and served in a simple, attractive room. Try the local yellow lentils and the lamb fricassee with an egg-lemon sauce.

I had the unfortunate experience of trying to eat at Nikolas, which was recommended.
The waiters refused to let me see the menu before being seated. When I insisted on seeing the menu first, I was rudely told to leave. Actually, I was practically ejected.
I have traveled the world extensively, and this is my first experience with such extremely rude and arrogant waiters. If you like to treated rudely and arrogantly, then Nikolas is certainly the place to go.

This is a lovely little family run taverna with many common Greek dishes at very affordable prices..I would definitely recommend it as a place to go for a nice leisurely meal with food that is just fine
