Andros

Helena Prodromou's Andros Travel arranges coach tours and especially walking tours, from strolling to climbing. Helena, a British Cypriot, is friendly and very knowledgeable.

Mykonos

Sunspots Travel takes a group every morning for a day tour of Delos (EUR 30). The company also has half-day guided tours of the Mykonos beach towns, with a stop in Ano Mera for the Panagia Tourliani Monastery (EUR 20). Windmills Travel runs excursions to nearby Tinos (EUR 35-EUR 50); arranges private tours of Delos and Mykonos and off-road jeep trips (EUR 50); charters yachts; and, in fact, handles all tourist services. John van Lerberghe's office is small, but he can tailor your trip from soup to nuts.

Naxos

The Tourist Information Centre, run by Despina Kitini of the Chateau Zevgoli, offers round-the-island tours (EUR 18). Despina can usually tell exactly what you want after a short discussion and then swiftly arrange it. Zas Travel runs two good one-day tours of the island sights with different itineraries, each costing about EUR 18, and one-day trips to Delos (about EUR 35) and Mykonos (about EUR 35).

Paros

Trips by land and sea, such as a tour around Antiparos, are arranged by Kostas Akalestos's Paroikia Tours. Erkyna Travel runs many excursions by boat, bus, and foot.

Santorini

Bellonias Tours runs coach tours that include Akrotiri, ancient Thira, Ia, wine tastings, and churches; it also has daily boat trips to the volcano and Thirassia (half day EUR 12, full day EUR 25) and arranges private tours. Nomikos Travel has tours to the same sights and to the island's wineries and the Monastery of Profitis Elias. This is the place to sign up for a caldera submarine trip (EUR 50).
