Marbella Hotel Review

Like other big hotel-bungalow resort complexes on Corfu, the Marbella was built in 1971, the heyday of international "jet set" travel to Corfu and while it is still a viable, family-friendly holiday property the rooms are, sad to say, showing their age. Set in an olive grove above the emerald waters of Agios Ioannis, south of Corfu town, and set on the coast road between Benitses and Moraitika, the Marbella does flaunt three outdoor pools, a restaurant, and access to a clean beach with a European "Blue Flag" designation. The guest rooms, however, are not particularly inviting; some resemble motel rooms with balconies that offer little or no privacy from your neighbors (be sure to do a little room-shopping before you book).
