George's Steak House Review

When all you really want is a burger, head to George's, a classic destination for more than 25 years in the heart of Glyfada's "Burger Town" district. As this spot started out as the local butcher's in 1951, it is little wonder that the menu is limited to grilled meats, like steaks (George learned how to carve a T-bone from a visiting American) and biftekia (thick, grilled, hamburger-like patties of ground beef and pork), plus a limited selection of side dishes like fries, tzatziki, and Greek salad. The service is fast, so don't be disappointed if all the tables are taken when you arrive; there's a continuous stream of diners coming and going. Great value for your money: the €13 steak will be tender and the €8.60 hamburger succulent.

    George's Steak House Review

The outline leaves out the best item on the menu, lamb chops (paidakia) I have been going to this place since 1962. The only change is the size of the place and the prices.
