Pantelis follows on the steps of his father Stavros, a poetic figure, gentle soul, and longtime fixture of the Monastiraki scene, as well as artist shoemaker, whose shop was once visited by the Beatles and Jackie O. Pantelis also writes poetry but his main claim to fame remains the handmade sandals that continue to delight countless tourists and celebrities.
