Crowne Plaza Review

Located on the site of the city's former Holiday Inn (it opened its doors in mid-2008), this may be the most technology-friendly Athens hotel. The modern comfortable rooms are outfitted with 26-inch LCD TVs, satellite channels, video on demand, and a media hub for digital cameras, PlayStation games, and iPods—there's even a laptop safe that opens with your own credit card. Another plus is lots of in-house food, including light meals at the two bars and two restaurants. The nearest metro station (Megaron) is a 5-minute walk, and the posh Kolonaki neighborhood is a leisurely 15-minute stroll away.
