Fodor's Review:
Favored by young people for its clean rooms and good value, this quiet hotel sits on a quiet Plaka side street across from Ayia Aikaterini church. Most of the rooms have balconies, and many, including all on the top floor, enjoy views of the Acropolis. If you're on a tight budget, you might consider one of the four rooms that have their private bath in the hall (EUR 10 less). The knowledgeable owners, who also run the Meltemi Hotel in Paros, are especially helpful if this is your first time in Athens.

Let me explain why we rated the Adams so highly!

We negotiated a great price low season(November 07),but got a noisey and odorous room for the first night. We negotiated (calmly) again and received a very nice view and quiet room. Kostas did every thing he could to reasonably please us.The continental breakfast was aptly named and adequate.If we return to Athens, we would definately try to stay at the Adams.RATING: 5.0

I will say that the location is great. But there are a lot of hotels in that area, I would definitely find another. I could put up with the noise, the uncomfortable bed and the minimalist breakfast but I really cannot put up with being lied to. They (Kostas) said they had made our day trip arrangements and that our tickets were "all set." There were no tickets and the boat was full so we missed our only day to take that trip. The Adam's response; it was our "bad luck" the boat was sold out. No, it was our bad luck to trust them. It won't happen again.RATING: 3.0
