In the 1950s and '60s, wealthy Athenians decamped to the cool, tree-filled Kefalari district of Kifissia for summer, a practice that is being revived, in a manner, with the opening of a number of stylish hotels in the area. This design-conscious hotel takes its decorating cues—and a generous dose of hipness—from a wall mural by Georgia Sagri that continues from room to room. Internet access, slippers and bathrobes, and DVD players in the rooms complement the ambience created by glass-walled bathrooms and skylights in the split-level suites.
