Fodor's Review:
Depending on your needs, the Amalia's best and worst feature is its location: right on one of Athens's biggest, busiest streets, directly across from Parliament. The minute you step outside, you're swept up in the noise and chaos of central Athens -- fortunately, double-glazed windows and a view to the National Garden keep things peaceful inside. Although the rooms are fairly institutional, this place is a good deal for its convenience to the National Garden and transport; the airport shuttle is next door, the metro and tram just a few steps away.
