Fodor's Expert Review Der Ratskeller

Just off Bernkastel's main square, Der Ratskeller serves uncomplicated regional food that can be enjoyed at an outside table with a view of the action, or inside cozily surrounded by dark wood and leaded windows. The menu includes duck glazed with fig mustard, and slow-cooked beef with horseradish sauce; in spring and early summer there's a classic white-asparagus menu.
