From Eberbach, take the road toward Hattenheim, stopping at the first right-hand turnoff to admire the monastery's premier vineyard, Steinberg. It's encircled by a 3-km-long (2-mi-long) stone wall (13th-18th century). In warmer months you can enjoy its vintages outdoors, overlooking the vines.
