Hotel Römerkrug Review

Rooms with exposed beams, pretty floral prints, and historic furnishings are tucked behind the half-timber facade (1458) of Elke Matzner's small inn on the market square. Fish (such as fresh trout from the Wisper Valley) and game are house specialties, but Marc Matzner also prepares local favorites, such as Himmel und Erde (mashed apples and potatoes with bacon and onions). There's a well-chosen selection of Mittelrhein wines that can be bought to take home.
