St. Gereon Restaurant and Landhotel Review

The modern rooms in this half-timber country inn have blond-wood floors and light-color furnishings. Stone walls and light pine furniture on terra-cotta tiles give the restaurant ($–$$) a warm, rustic look, too. The food in the restaurant is traditional, and on Friday and Saturday evenings from October to March hearty regional specialties and Flammkuchen are served in the Weinstube ($) in the vaulted cellar. The selection of Rheinhessen and Rheingau wines is small but very good.
