Römisch-Germanisches Zentralmuseum
Römisch-Germanisches Zentralmuseum Review
A wonderful collection of original artifacts and copies of items that chronicle cultural developments in the area up to the early Middle Ages is housed in the Kurfürstliches Schloss (Electoral Palace). One of the highlights is a tiny Celtic glass dog from the 1st or 2nd century BC. The museum entrance is around the back, on the river (east) side of the building.
