Fodor's Review:

Among the delights of Göttingen are the ancient taverns where generations of students have lifted their steins. Among the best known are the Kleiner Ratskeller (Judenstr. 30) and Trou (Burgstr. 20). Don't be shy about stepping into either of these taverns or any of the others that catch your eye; the food and drink are inexpensive, and the welcome is invariably warm and friendly. If the cramped and noisy company of twenty-somethings is not to your taste, try the cafe Cron und Lanz (Weendert Str. 25), where tradition and quality come together.
