Ravensburg's true parish church, the Liebfrauenkirche (Church of Our Lady), is a 14th-century structure, elegantly simple on the outside but almost entirely rebuilt inside. Among the church's finest treasures are the 15th-century stained-glass windows in the choir and the heavily gilt altar. In a side altar is a copy of a carved Madonna, the Schutzmantelfrau; the late-14th-century original is in Berlin's Dahlem Museum.
