Altes Rathaus (Old Town Hall)
Altes Rathaus (Old Town Hall) Review
Inside the late-Gothic Altes Rathaus is a high point of Gothic decoration, the Rathaussaal, or council chamber, which is still in use today. Its most striking feature amid the riot of carving is the series of figures, created between 1492 and 1494, representing the states of the Holy Roman Empire. To visit the interior, you'll need to take the hour-long guided tour. Tours are free; simply show up shortly before the set start time.
