The sister hotel to Der Kleine Prinz is in a building formerly occupied by the army. Large rooms have soaring ceilings, spacious beds, genuine antiques from Louis XV to art deco, and luxurious baths—in some cases cleverly built to comply with strict monument-protection laws. High tea in the salon or the romantic little garden with fountain is a must. Contemporary furnishings distinguish the rooms in the new wing. Six extra rooms will be added some time in 2009. Pros: beautiful gardens, room price includes afternoon tea, personal and friendly service. Con: only the newer wing has an elevator.
