Parkhotel Adler

Fodor's Review:

This 560-year-old hotel, once on the edge of decrepitude, has been turned into an oasis of luxury with a beautiful private park, an extensive fitness facility, and superb service. Many of the rooms have marble baths and balconies overlooking the park. The latest addition is the Diva, a fine café set in a conservatory. The rustic Wirtshuus-Stube ($$$-$$$$), with its wood paneling and tile stove, serves Black Forest specialties. If reserving, mention whether you are tall, since the ceiling is low in most of the dining room. Evenings can be spent in the Leo Lounge enjoying live piano music. Pros: luxurious, good service, quiet location. Con: low ceilings in the dining area.
