Fodor's Review:

This hotel, a model of comfort and gracious hospitality, is in Hirsau, 3 km (2 mi) from Calw. The Klosterschenke restaurant ($-$$) serves such regional specialties as Flädelsuppe (containing pieces of a special, very thin pancake) and Schwäbischer Rostbraten (panfried beefsteak topped with sautéed onions). Pros: quiet location, homey atmosphere. Con: a bit out of town.
